Mary Ellen McNally and her husband, Dr. Michael McNally, moved to Colorado Springs in 1964. She has four children and five grandchildren. Their oldest daughter, Beth, has been a client of Cheyenne Village for over 30 years.
Mary Ellen has held two elected offices: District 11 Board of Education and the Colorado Springs City Council. She is an active community volunteer and has served on several community boards including the Economic Development Corporation, Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Goodwill Industries, and the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute. She is currently serving on the Memorial Health System Foundation board and the Kirkpatrick Bank Community Advisory Board. She has also previously served on the Board for Colorado Springs Sports Corporation.
She has a strong commitment to Cheyenne Village because of the remarkable progress her daughter has made toward independent living. Mary Ellen is also a member of Cheyenne Village’s Legacy Society.
