Sara Qualls, Ph.D., UCCS Emeritus Professor; Clinical GeroPsychologist, is the Kraemer Family Professor of Aging Studies Professor, professor of psychology, and director of the Gerontology Center at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). She led the development of the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology (Emphasizing Geropsychology) at UCCS, and the establishment of the CU Aging Center which provides mental health and family support services for older adults in the region. Qualls coordinates efforts of UCCS faculty and students on behalf of the community in collaborative projects, such as the Innovative University-Private Collaborative senior housing project, Palisades at Broadmoor Park.

Sara has been part of the Cheyenne Village family since her son joined us in 2016.
