As a native of Colorado Springs, Travers Hyde comes to Cheyenne Village from the El Paso County Department of Human Services. He worked with the county for 7 years, 5 of those as the Operations Manager for DHS. He started out as a project coordinator working on several department projects and attended many events to help explain DHS service and all of the different options that were available to the public for assists. He soon moved into the Operations Manager position where he was in charge of many large projects for DHS such as organizing and developing the departments scanning program. He also was instrumental during the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest fires as the manager of both of the Disaster Assistance Centers alongside Monnie Gore. He was also in charge of working closely with the departments partners as well as many of the vendors to assure the partners and DHS staff had equipment and access to assist all of our shared customers. He comes to us with lots of experience that he will surely use to manage all of our properties that support our intellectual and developmentally disabled clients for years to come.
