VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers make the difference for Cheyenne Village, Inc.!  You add that extra touch that helps us to accomplish our mission of helping people with disabilities lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Opportunities to volunteer within our village encompass a wide variety of skills and talents.  
We need your help in the following areas:

Vineyard in the Village Event Committee
Help us plan and implement our annual wine tasting, fundraising event.

Sub-committees: Logistics and Arrangements, Marketing / Ticket Sales,
Decorations, International Marketplace, Grape Stomp Contest
Meetings: Monthly – Bi-weekly

PR & Marketing Committee
Grass roots effort to create awareness through resources and networks; Develop marketing strategies to implement the messaging; Coordinate speakers bureau; Coordinate awareness-fundraising coffees
Sub-committees: Speakers Bureau, Networking Events, Planning, Branding
Meetings: Monthly

Group Home Committees
Asses and support the varied and special needs of the individual consumers, and staff of Cheyenne village group homes and apartment services by recruiting dollars, equipment / supplies and volunteers for special projects and coordinating those projects.
Sub-committees: Activities coordination, Volunteer coordination, Resource generation
Projects: Facility maintenance, Dinners, Field Trips
Meetings: As determined by location

One-on-One Activity
Spend time in one-on-one companionship activities with individuals with developmental disabilities living in apartments.

Clerical Support
Support the Cheyenne Village Inc. office staff by doing copying, filing and data entry.
