Cheyenne Village, Inc. opens up worlds of possibility through services and supports designed to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.

We help people with disabilities lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

supervised homes

Supervised homes provide support in the areas of self-care, nutrition, recreation, budgeting, safety, and transportation. Emphasis is also placed on emotional and behavioral development. Twent-four hour supervision is provided as well as coordination of medical and psychiatric intervention.
apartment living support
Apartment living focuses on skills for independence, cooking, housekeeping, balancing bank accounts, living with a budget, leisure activities, scheduling appointments and safety. Staff makes daily contact.
supported living services
Supported living services provide on-going services to people who live in the community and need minimal support to maintain and flourish. Support occurs as needed.

host families provide a supportive environment in the community by welcoming people into their homes and families. Staff monitor these supports during routine visits.

 

supported employment
Supported employment is the development of individual career plans that identify interests, skills, and needs. Support is provided in placing people in jobs with businesses throughout the community. Staff work with the employer, the individual, and family members to provide support as long as needed.
community participation
Community participation supports people in their community involvement. People select activities reflecting their personal interests. This may include paid or unpaid work leisure and hobby pursuits, classes and educational opportunities. The focus is on developing relationships with other members of the community.
fee for service
Fee for service allows for the private purchase of any Cheyenne Village services or supports.
